Description: B-17 Bomber At The Eiffel Tower?! 36 Post WWII Paris Photo Slides on CD United States Strategic Air Forces in Europe On the 5th of August 1945, opened a military equipment exhibition at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France The nose art on this B-17 indicates the plane was named The Eagles Wrath. However, the B-24 in this exhibit was painted and named to represent a famous aircraft and it is possible this B-17 received the same improvements. This appears to be a B-17G with the chin turret removed as evidenced by the round, silver sheet metal on the bottom of the aircraft behind the nose cone. There are some other landmarks slides. I don’t know what they are. You are buying a CD with the images on it. The images here are MUCH smaller than on the disk. My watermark is not in the photos on the cd The winning bidder will receive 1 CD in a case with no label or writing so that they can print and use their favorite photo as a label. I own the original Kodachrome & or Ektachrome slides. The slides are not for sale. Please keep checking back for more CD volumes. The images are all about 8mb Thanks for having a look at my listings.
