Description: AXEL (TONY COE, GORDON BECK) & CLARK TERRY- 1977 BBC TRANSCRIPTION DISCS - 2 LP SET Original BBC Transcription Discs - Two LP Set featuring Axel (Tony Coe, Gordon Beck) & The Clark Terry Big Band. Both LP’s have been cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine and have been play graded and are in Near Mint condition. Both LP’s come housed in new white cardboard LP jackets and also include the original brown paper/plastic BBC sleeves. Three pages of A4 sized cue sheets are also included. Transcription Discs are very rare and are typically pressed in small quantities, less than a few hundred. Many of these LP’s are destroyed and the ones that manage to survive are not always in the best condition. This two LP set is in Near Mint condition which is amazing considering that they are over 45 years old!
