Description: Handcrafted in Brazil by Ceramarte in 1991 for Avon. This outstanding stein pays homage to the great dogs of the outdoors, which include the English Setter, Brittany Spaniel, Pointer, Irish Setter, Weimaraner, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel and Golden Retriever. The much loved Labrador Retriever has been appropriately placed atop the stein. There is a pewter goose in flight, which serves as the thumb rest to open the top of the stein so you can enjoy your favorite beverage. There is another etching in the pewter lid for you to enjoy after opening the stein, which is another bird, possibly a pheasant or hawk, in flight with two dogs looking on. Approximately 9" tall. In original box and original packing, including info pamphlet from Avon. Some minor wear on top of box from being opened. Great for any collector of steins or dog lover. Any areas that looked discolored are part of the stein, not a defect. Excellent condition. Never used, stored in box in a smoke-free home.
