Description: This leaflet is an original made to be dropped over Japan during World War II. Itwas a tool used by the American military force to get the Japanese population to question their countries, actions, and to sympathize with the American agenda. It was made by the US office of war information OWI.#2042. I have included a translation of the Japanese script in the photos. The leaflet depicts a Japanese leader at the bottom with some consider Tojo. He smiles and his confident looking at his troops on a squirrel in front of him. Behind him is uncle Sam and from his hands fall a massive squadron of aircraft and bombs . The finder of this leaflet would see the danger approaching Japan and the superiority of American troops. This image is a stylized, almost modern caricature. Very effective propaganda.
