Description: Vintage 1960s Aurora Model Motoring HO Slot Car SetGolden Gate HO Road Race - Stirling Moss Grand Prix Racers(2) Original Thunderjet 500 Cars I purchased this set a few weeks ago from the original owner. It has been very well cared for and is 95% complete (the only thing I could tell that is missing is the original instruction manual. I inventoried all the items against the list on the front of the box. In the second photo you will see all of the pieces laid out according to the list on the box). The box is in very nice condition for it's age - there is some damage, particularly on the corners. There is writing on the inside of the top lid. There are a couple of broken plastic guardrail pieces. The cars are the original two that came with this set. I did not test the cars. They appear to be in nice condition with the exception of the roll bars above the drivers heads (see close-up photos). Please assume that the cars could need repair or tuning. The original tires are on the cars, they will most likely need to be replaced. I tested the voltage on the transformer at 18.63. Note: PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS THE STIRLING MOSS SET WHICH ORIGINALLY CAME WITH THE TWO GRAND PRIX RACER SLOT CARS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS - NOT MUSTANGS AS SHOWN ON THE BOX ART.
