Description: From Aurora of the USA comes kit #498-70. It is the famous USAAF Lockheed P-39 Lightning fighter of WWII. This iconis twin-engine fighter served in all theaters but was most successful in the Pacifc. It is most famous for the Yammamoto shot down in Operation Vengeance. Aurora issued this kit in 1964 and is very nicely molded in dark blue. Box is excellent with minor wear and kit is checked complete. Scale is 1/84, great for an HO train layout.
