They obviously said yes & have been using the same tried and true recipe ever since. For fan assisted ovens please adjust temperatures accordingly. Place 450g (1lb) cooked fruit, pie filling or drained canned fruit in a 1 litre oven proof dish. If using fresh fruit also add 3 tbsp (45ml) of water and 3 tbsp (42g) of sugar. Sprinkle the golden crumble mix over the fruit and gently level the top. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 30-40 minutes until the crumble is golden brown.
