From Factory, The gear selector is finished in leather or suede which is nice but does not give a very sporty or premium look. Our new carbon fibre option accentuates the interior of the car and finishing off an already great interior The lead time is between 3-4 weeks to produce this part from point of order. We take an original Audi part and manufacturer this into carbon fibre via vacuum infusion, the end result is a pinhole free finish giving superior clarity. We can finish this in either gloss or matte/satin lacquer depending on your personal preference. Please note, there may be some slight variances with the matte/satin finish as we manually mix up the lacquer. We are offering our gear selectors on an exchange basis. This means that you will receive a carbon fibre gear knob pre-assembled and once fitted, you can return your original version after the fitting for a rebate. If you choose to return your original part, you will receive £70 back on your order. We do require the gear selected to be returned within 3 weeks otherwise we may not be able to process your refund. Bank transfers are also accepted, please contact us for invoicing and details. Payment must be made in full before the item(s) are released. Shipping Q) How long does it take to receive my order? If the parts are in stock then dispatch usually can be the same or next day. Some parts however can be ordered on backorder but may take anywhere from 1-5 weeks to dispatch due to manufacturing times. Please be aware that estimated delivery times may vary depending on how busy the workshop is and that during particularly busy periods, these deadlines might be extended. Please ensure that you supply an e-mail address on ordering and we will e-mail you to notify you when your items have been dispatched. Once items have been dispatched, delivery within mainland UK is next day. International orders can take 2-6 days for delivery. We send all of our products using insured and tracked methods so there are no concerns for you if any products are lost or damaged in transit. Q) What happens if my order is lost or damaged by the courier in transit? We always send items using insured and tracked methods, so there's no risk to you at all. Just let us know about the problem immediately and we'll arrange for a new part to be sent in exchange as soon as possible. Please ensure that you check the goods before accepting them from the courier or alternatively sign for the parcel as unchecked. If the goods arrive clearly damaged please either refuse delivery or sign as damaged with clear photos to be taken before unwrapping the packaging. Returns We hope you will be happy with your purchase from Carbonwurks, however should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is returned to us in a completely unused condition with all packaging, etc. Returns should be made within 14 days and supplied back to us in the original, undamaged packaging. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in the supplied condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item(s). We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on any specially ordered or customised products and any returns that are made not due to a product fault (damage on arrival etc) will incur a 25% restocking fee.
