Description: Family: Nightshade (Solanacea) Hardy to Zones 5 to 9 Herbaceous perennial ecotype native to the northern Caucasus. Flowers to 3 feet tall. The Caucasus are the mountains at the intersection of Asia and Europe, between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. Rare. Traditional usage (TWM): external application as a muscle relaxant and pain reliever. Do not ingest. Plant is more drought tolerant than other belladonna types and will withstand full sun. Sow seeds just sub-surface and tamp. The seed germinates well in standard potting soil. Keep planting warm, moist and in the light until germination, which takes about 2 weeks. Work plants up in successively larger pots until sufficiently robust to transplant to garden or landscape. Space plants 2 feet apart. These pictures are from my Etsy shop. I’ve had to move all of these type of seeds over to my eBay.
