Description: For sale is this antique Atha 12lb. sledge hammer head, measuring 7-13/16" long, with 2-1/4" octagonal faces with a 1-3/16" X 1-3/8" oval eye. Signed with the famous "A" within the horseshoe logo, it is in POOR overall condition, showing very heavy use and wear on the faces, as pictured. Atha stopped manufacturing under this name in 1914, making this hammer over 100 years old.
