Description: RARE!! WONDERFUL set of six blue ironstone transferware ironstone soup bowls by ASHWORTH BROS in what I believe is the Asiatic Birds, Blue Pheasant or Birds and Flowers pattern. Bowls measure approximately 7 3/8" in diameter and 1 3/8" high. Dated to around 1880. Made in England Also listing two 9 1/2" plates in the same pattern--I will be happy to combine shipping. VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT antique condition--no chips, cracks, breaks or crazing noted, but there are utensil marks associated with age. 8C
