Description: Arts Crafts Antique Vintage Reverse Painted Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Era Description: Remember folks no 20-30% auction buyers premium here on this auction like the auction houses of today are getting. I have for sale this super cool 1905-1925 reverse painted arts and crafts lamp. Maker unknown but certainly of the quality of Bradley and Hubbard or Miller or better. This is a cool looking lamp and its in fine working order and free of any damage. No dings or dents in the base or shade and no filigree losses. The lamp measures 23 inches tall with the shade being 19.5 inches wide. No breaks in the glass or other damage to report. This is a really cool arts and crafts period lamp and with a very unique Indian scene. The paint quality excellent throughout and as you can see it lights up great. The coloration in the lamp will be the focal in whatever room you put it in and will be a topic of discussion with the neighbors and relatives visiting. The filligree design work is way above average on this lamp compared to others as well and painted also. So check out the photos closely as there is a lot going on with the lamp. This is not your standard run of the mill 1905-1925 reverse painted lamp folks. So cool. The lamp recently rewired with period correct cloth cord and old style plug as well. Thanks for looking and please check out my other lighting sales and auctions as well. I have a lot of lamps up and running right now and your bound to see something you like. Due to the high costs of shipping we are going to post a shipping cost for the Eastern time zone that applies to only the Eastern time zone. From there our rates will increase from the base price posted for the Eastern Time Zone as follows: Central Time Zone Add: 15% Mountain Time Zone Add: 25% Pacific Time Zone Add: 35% Please know that my shipping costs are typically cheaper than other ebay sellers and we pack better than 98% of them because we ship out a hundred lamps a year or more compared to just a few for the others. If the winning bidder is from the Northeast I would like to try and get this delivered by one of my employees if possible. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. Bidders please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don't want to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn't perfect on a 2,000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That being said, if you think you're going to be a difficult buyer because you want perfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another ebay seller's product. ebay has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yet I'm a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to do business with. Thanks for your understanding
