Description: This is an etching of a Canadian Goose Decoy done by Arthur Nevin. The Decoy, we believe, was made in 1965. Mr. Nevin spent a over 50 years making limited edition etchings of waterfowl decoys. The date he lists on the etching is from the year the decoy was carved. This etching is signed in pencil by Mr. Nevin and numbered 130/150. He typically made 150 etchings of a decoy. With waterfowl where the drake and hen were different, he made an 150 etchings of the drake and 150 of the hen. With Canadian geese, he made just 150 etchings. This etching has never been matted or framed and is in like new, perfect condition. The perimeter of the art paper measures 14 x 22 inches. The Goose image measures 17 inches from its tail to the front of its breast. Mr Nevin had a long, and very successful, career as an artist. He passed away in 2020 at the age of 90. We have a number of his etchings that are unframed and much easier and safer to ship. Pricing is based upon comparable Nevin Etchings. His etchings of geese tend to be very popular and make a great addition to any man cave, cabin, lodge, or den. We accept returns for any reason within 30 days but no one has ever returned an Arthur Nevin etching. (Note: We are currently listing a number of Mr. Nevin's etchings and invite you to combine a purchase for a savings on both the etchings and their shipping.)
