Description: Here is an excellent pair of life-sized merganser decoys created, painted, and signed by Art Pavoni of Media PA. What an interesting rare addition to your collection! Each duck measures approximately 19" long x 5" wide x 6.5" high at the head. They are hand carved and painted, with glass eyes, and tethered. Very rustic hollow body decoys. The drake has what appears to be a bite mark on it. Maybe the previous owners got a puppy and he got curious? The hen has a small dent in her head from mishandling or dropping.
