Description: You are looking at a Art Deco Modern era bakelite or catalin lidded box. This round box comes with a brass medallion depicting an eagle. Made in France, the eagle might be a reference to the Napoleon era of French history. The color is butterscotch yellow with marbling and translucence. It displays beautifully. Box has a 3 1/8" diameter and stands 1 7/8" tall. Walls are 5/16" thick. Weighs 206 gr.Overall excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Nice patina.
