Oblong format, deeply embossed and stamped covers, gilt cover designs. Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. A lovely example, nicer than typical. Rear cover has a pair of globes in double hemisphere format. Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina. Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age rubbing to covers and minor condition flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
