It is a pyritised specimen which has been prepared and then buffed up to highlight the pyrite preservation. This gives the ammonites a gold colour. Jurassic. Collected from Yorkshire, England. A great display piece. Specimen measures approx 8cm x 9cm x 2.7cm.
