Description: These two antique postcards show images of the traditional Swiss shepherds/ cowboys/ cheese makers called "Armaillis Fribourgois", wearing their typical clothes. The card was purchased by a collector who visited Switzerland in 1911 (see our many other listings from that trip). Both cards were made in Switzerland - one by Wehrli A.G. Kilchberg-Zürich, the other one by Editions Louis Burgy, Lausanne. The cards are slightly yellow from age, but they are in nice condition for their age. They were stored in a beautiful postcard album for about a century and have light indentations at the corners from being inserted. Will be shipped quickly and very well protected.
