Description: Aokeo desk mount microphone stand, new. OK, here’s the deal, there’s thousands of these mounts for sale on eBay most of them are the spring suspension ones, which I’ve had two of them. They’re not bad for lightweight microphones but they sag and suck for heavy microphones. So I got a deal on these Chinese suckers and I have to say, if you’re looking for an inexpensive mount , this is the best one I’ve come across. I have a Mojave MA 200 Mic , plus a pop filter mounted and the XLR cable and it doesn’t sag. Like all these inexpensive mounts, you don’t want to Cantilever it out too far for a long period of time because the clamp can’t handle the stress, but that goes for all these inexpensive mounts. After use, if you just contract it back there seems to be no issue. I believe this mount could probably support an EV RE20 mic
