Description: SS-001 - DEVIL 501 & DEVIL 505 USN A-6E Intruders on the Big ScreenIn late 1989, A-6E TRAM Intruders from VA-165 Boomers were modified to represent the earlier A-6A from VA-196 Main Battery during a fictitious 1972 USS Independence Vietnam War cruise. This effort was for a movie released in 1991. This small special sheet includes decals for three scales - 1/32, 1/48, & 1/72 - and includes the exterior markings to reproduce Devil 501 or Devil 505 in each of the three scales. Decals for crew helmets for both aircraft and one external fuel tank are also provided.NOTE - The national insignias are intentionally misproportioned on the decal sheet, this is how they appeared on the actual 501 and 505 in the movie.
