Description: Scarce autographed 3" x 5" card of the Spanish violinist with a tipped on photograph. Brosa played with World Premiere of Benjamin Britten's Violin Concerto om March 28, 1940. He was a Crickboom pupil and had his own strong quartet which operated out of London. The violinist also played the first performance of Haydn Wood's violin concerto and the simultaneous world premiere of Ernest Bloch's violin concerto on the other side of the pond in 1930. William Walton also consulted him on his violin concerto which had been commissioned by Jascha Heifetz. The only example we have seen of him in 30 years! Will combine shipments, payment however, must be made at the close of the auction and you must advise us you intend to purchase additional items. Thank you!
