Description: Antique Zeh Scherzer Bavaria Germany Porcelain Tea Tile Trivet Hot Plate 1880 - 1918 This antique porcelain hot plate or trivet was used to put on the table and a tea pot would be placed upon it for serving. This is a rare pattern and color scheme from Zeh, Scherzer & Company, Bavaria Germany with the 1880 - 1918 mark on the back. This plate measures 6.5 inches in diameter and does have conditional issues that are normal with an antique item. There is surface scratching throughout the piece and some chipping on the bottom of the rose pattern. There is also a small chip to the right of the roses and there are some marks on the back side rim. Overall this piece is in good condition for the age of the item.
