The box displays in the most desirable aged patina and colour all over with contracting ebonised detailing. The correspondence box is fitted with a leather writing surface that pulls out from the underside of the base. With fitted brass hardware, two glass inkwells and glass water bowl. The lift up lid opens to reveal a compartmental letter & paper rack. In general just a nice small sized example of an antique writing box. 28cm X 21cmHeight 18cm Condition - Good.
