The abacus still has the original plate of manufacture on one of the edges. An abacus is used much like a calculator in solving mathematical problems. Overall, the abacus is in very good 'as found' condition, showing signs of use, handling, and age. I do not detect any breaks or repairs to the device, but there is one detected crack to one of the beads from age. It measures 14 5/8" x 7 1/8" x 1" and has a weight of about 1 pound 11 ounces and will ship at 2 pounds 8 ounces, as it will be boxed for protection. Auctions can be combined to save on shipping.
