Outer measurements of frame approx: 13 1/4" x 11" x 1 1/2". Very ornate with diamond shapes, garland, floral and bead design. There is writing on the back of the frame:"1890" "This was my mothers frame years ago when I was a little girl"D put this needlepoint in 1971"It must of been bought about 1890" "This frame about 1890" I see no major issues with the frame except for a small gash that is under the gilting-see top of last pic.Frame feels very sturdy and corners feel tight. Missing the nails in the upper right corner. No visible chips in glass but does have a small bubble imperfection in center of glass that can be seen at an angle in the light.
