Description: This whimsical antique glider rocking house has until now been used by multiple generations in one family. While not marked - we attribute this gem to the venerable toy firm of Whitney Reed. Created sometime in the early 20th century it features:- original body paint/finish- original rawhide ears- real horsehair mane and tail- updated quilted/padded calico "saddle"- recent grosgrain ribbon "reins"- re-painted red base frame.Measures 36" wide x 12.5" deep x 29" high. In very good vintage condition. Structurally sound and fully functional. Original body paint shows some surface stress cracks. Base appears to have been repainted at some point given some visible "drips". Various chips, "dings" and marks throughout commensurate with antique age and use. Note: Will be carefully packed and shipped in a large box via FedEX Home/Ground Delivery.
