Description: This white ironstone lid is in the Olympic pattern, made by Elsmore & Forster in the 1860's. It would fit on the matching vegetable tureen. It measures approximately 10 1/8" long, 7 7/8" wide, and 3 1/2" tall. The inner rim measures about 8 3/8" by 6 1/4". This is a great pattern with Greek Key designs and a finial that resembles garlic. This is marked on the underside with an impressed number 27. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is minor surface wear overall. There are some little specks on top of the finial. Please see my pictures, and thanks for looking! Fragile items are packaged securely and with care.
