Description: The Wellington 2 typewriter was manufactured around 1896. The Wellington typewriters were known for their distinctive thrust action, where the typebars struck the paper from the front rather than from above, a design innovation for its time. This model is one of the early examples of typewriters that aimed to improve typing efficiency and reliability. It is in very nice condition considering it's age.
