Description: Lid has a small triangle break. A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, tea caddy and cover. This is marked WEDGWOOD ENGLAND and it dates from c.1900. It is also impressed with a triangle, which could be a workmans mark. It is decorated with four interesting classical subjects which can all be seen in the images. There is an attractive band of classical scrolls to the neck of the caddy and there are long leaves to the lid. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. There is a small chip to the underside of the lid. Otherwise it is in good condition. This shape is not common in Wedgwood jasper ware. Dimensions overall: Diameter 7.8cm. Height 14.8cm.
