Description: Used antique steamer wardrobe trunk. It's in good condition considering the age and use of this. Once opened the right side has 4 drawers with slide bar and the left side has a flip top with dirty clothes hamper bag, 5 original wooden hangers with corded rings, shallow bottom box, small shipping box with addressed postcard. There are keys that it is presumed belongs to the trunk. I have not tried them. There is a sticker on the outside from St. Bonaventure College. (Which started in 1858 to present). Inside is an intact sticker reading State Teachers College East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. (Which began in 1927 to 1960. Then it became ESSU).The postage stamps on the small shipping box were issued in 1954. The postmark is indecipherable. My best guess is the trunk is from the 40's or earlier and this person had attended both colleges in the mid 50's. The single leather handle is broken and there is minor wear to some of the fabric on the drawers. Measures 21 3/8"L x 40 1/4"H x 21"D when closed. It is dark green exterior with metal and black leather edging. It opens and closes well. $400.00.
