Description: Maritime Antique Vintage Brass 46 Inch Spyglass - E.VION Paris Looks to be in overall good shape, no cracks or chips in the glass. It has 4 sections that extend to 46 inches. Some of the sections are tight and we oiled them slightly. When fully extended, it is straight. Very long, very hard to hold and focus. The eyepiece section is very clear but fully extended is difficult to get a clear image and hard to focus. From eye piece to end lens, it is about 43 inches. The main body has a sun shade which pulls outanother 3 inches covering the lens. There is a small but noticeable dent/crease about an inch long in main body but doesn't seem to affect operation. Cool display item for your maritime collection. 12 1/2" when fully retracted. Circa later 1800's to WW1 era.. Dimensions: 12.50", 2.50" Weighs: 3# 3oz
