Description: For your consideration is a stunning flow black mulberry 9.25" dinner plate in the Scinde pattern by Thomas Walker, Staffordshire, England, circa 1870's. Fourteen ridges slope from the rim through the outer edge pattern. In excellent condition: No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs; there is a very small glaze flake on the right hand rim. Background is bright and shiny white with the exception of two under-glaze spots on the front and several on the back that are discolored and feel somewhat wavy; there are minute glaze pits and "pimples" and a 1" shallow cut, all part of the manufacturing process.
