Description: Very nice condition. Antique, Victorian, preowned. Top of hat pin is 14k yellow gold. Unmarked. Acid tested for 14k gold. This item has been verified by a jeweler. Beautiful natural Persian blue turquoise round cabochon, bezel set. Gold is rich in color with some natural darker patina from age. Bottom part of pin is gold filled. Includes stopper at bottom. Some discoloration near top. Measures 8.25” inches long, approximately. 6.24 grams total. Persian turquoise was a high end luxury during Victorian times. It was not readily available and was imported from the Middle East.
