Description: Early 1800s rare pair of dividers from William Harrison Wynn and Cornelius Wynn of Birmingham England. Hand forged with micro adjust. Marked with R Muriel and are in good condition. The firm of William & Cornelius Wynn was founded in 1787 as a steel ‘toy’ manufacturer, later producing edge tools. It later became W & C Wynn & Co. In 1836 it amalgamated with Timmins to become Wynn & Timmins & Co.Postage ok.
