Full title is: The Flower-Garden, or, Breck's Book of Flowers, In Which Are Discussed All the Various Hardy Herbaceous Perennials, Annuals, Shrubby Plants, and Evergreen Trees, Desirable For Ornamental Purposes, with Directions for Their Cultivation. Joseph Breck was the founder of the Breck's Flower Company, still in existence today. Contains 336 numbered pages with General Index in the Front. Frontispiece. This brown, antique hardcover book is in good+ condition, with no marginnotes or underlinings. Single owner's name/inscription inside front cover only, and one note on index page. It is NOT ex-library. Spine and binding are complete and all pages are secure; hinges are strong and straight. Pages are generally clean, showing some reasonable age spotting ~ no rips or tears. Blank end pages show much age spotting. Some edge and corner wear to textured cover boards. Gilt entering on spine is still bright. Please view all photos and ask questions before bidding.
