Description: ANTIQUE THE FIRST SAVINGS & 5% LOAN CO. MASSILLON, OHIO SMALL BRASS OVAL SAVINGS BANK WITH HANDLE This is an antique brass with steel bottom constructed oval shaped savings bank from the early 1900's probably. This bank advertises on a tag on the front for "The First Savings & 5% Loan Co. 3418 Massillon, Ohio". Bank has a handle on the top and slot on the top also for the coins. The bottom of the Bank is marked, "Ben Franklin" and was manufactured by the Bankers Savings & Credit System Co. out of Cleveland, Ohio. We don't have the key for opening it though. Bank is in good condition overall for its age with some natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures almost 2.5" tall by 3.5" wide by just over 1.5" thick.Wonderful old small brass savings bank from Ohio would be a great find for your collection. Don't miss it.
