Description: Antique tape measure made of pierced tagua nut (also known as vegetable ivory). Original cloth tape rewinds by turning spindle. Spindle has a rare Stanhope with images of Dunkerque (Dunkirk) Malo, pre-World War II. Measures 1-1/2 inches tall and 7/8-inch wide. Split in nut on underside (see photo) otherwise excellent condition.
