An unusual frame, where the silver front is separate from the egg and tongue beaded edge and side, thus the interior silver face could be changed to suit the image. This rare frame dates from 1920 Without original box. Please see above for quantity available. Price is per piece. Markings: Fully hallmarked for .925 sterling silver, Birmingham hallmark, 1920. The interior frame has an additional hallmark to the interior face. The swing retainers also have silver touch marks. Please see images above. Size: Aperture is 4 1/2" (11.5 cm) by 2 1/2" (6.5 cm), external dimensions 5 3/4” (14.5 cm) by 3 3/4” (19.5 cm). Condition: Frame is in excellent condition, wood has been freshly waxed and polished, the silk backing and glass being original. Silver in excellent order, commensurate with age and use.
