This scene with figures which was made in the Victorian era in England is well made & of excellent quality. The figure has no china maker's mark which is generally typical for figures of this type.The plaque under the arch has the wording on it: "The New Marriage Act John Frill and Anne Boke aged 21 That's right says the parson Amen says the clerk."The scene measures 6 inches tall, by 6.25 inches wide by 4.25 inches deep.
