Description: ANTIQUE SPEAR & JACKSON 20” PANEL SAW – 11PPI Here is a good early 1870’s Spear & Jackson small 20” panel saw in good condition for restoration and use. Hard to find these small panel saws with fine teeth – but a valuable saw for the workshop. A straight saw with good teeth – one in back end is broke and needs to be brought back up thru shaping and sharpening over time. The beech wood handle is perfect with long flowing horns and fine split nuts. Delicate lambs tongue is perfect. Clear makers mark the saw needs cleaning and sharpening. A fine older hand saw in good condition for a user saw. I have recently been selling many tools from my collection in fine condition to woodworkers who have emailed me with compliments on the quality of the tools and their ready to use condition. I am a retired shop teacher, woodworker, and tool collector for over 25 years. I am a long time active member of many antique tool organizations including EAIA, Mid-West & CRAFTS of NJ. I was President of CRAFTS for over 10 years. I know antique hand tools and use them in my shop every day. I use many pictures as they are worth a thousand words and count on them as part of my description. So look them over for all the little details they reveal. I have been selling antique tools continuously on eBay since 1998 and enjoy the friendship of my buyers.
