Description: Beautifully restored and repurposed antique card/document storage box. Made by the Globe-Wernicke Company in the late 1800s. Paper No. 7510 C tag on inside. This box measures 8 5/8" wide x 10 1/8" deep x 6 3/8" tall. Inside is 8 1/8" wide x 9 3/8" deep x 5 7/8" tall. Sides are 1/4" thick oak and assembled using finger joints for strength. 90º hinges. Hardware in good working condition. Adjustable solid wood card holder complete. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Excellent condition. All joints are solid.
