Description: Fresh from a Northwest Arkansas estate is this antique silver-plated pickle castor with original tongs. Underneath the frame is marked: NEW AMSTERDRAM QUADRUPLE PLATE: 119. The frame stands 11.5 tall and measures 4" across the bottom. The plating is in EXCELLENT condition. The cranberry glass insert stands 4.5" tall and shows appropriate wear on base for a 125-year-old piece. Silver pickle castors were very popular from 1850-1899. Holiday entertaining would be a great time to display this beauty! I will bubble wrap and box carefully for greater security in shipping.
