This three-fingered pantry box is out of an old farmhouse located in Kennebunk, Maine only a few miles from the Alfred Maine Shaker community. The Alfred Shakers were active in Alfred from 1793 through 1931. I cannot guarantee this box was made by the Shakers or that it is from this village however it is of superior Shaker quality. It measures 8" x 5.5" x 3.25". There is some soiling but overall - considering age and use - is in excellent condition. Also included is an ad from an old newspaper or guide describing the item.
