Description: Up for consideration is an exceptional vase in design, execution, and condition. The porcelain vase is in the Sevres style but is unmarked as to maker. The vase was painted by the renowned artist G Poitevin whose works have sold at prestigious auctions including Christies and Bonhams. The porcelain is mounted in bronze with maiden faces on each side. It measures 16" from bottom of the vase to top of the lid's finial. The vase has a pink background with one side being painted with a courting couple and the other having a floral bouquet. The only item of note is that there is a ding to the bottom of the lid on the portion not shown when displayed (see last photo).
