Holding twelve buttons sewn in place, card advertises GUARANTEED NOT TO RUST, TARNISH, CORRODE OR WARP - they were made by J.W. SCHLOSS COMPANY, NEW YORK, and date to the late 1800s based on research about the company - original price of 10 cents is faintly penciled on the back. Condition is very nice with a tape repaired tear on the cardboard side as shown - buttons have a wonderful, warm color from age.
