Description: For sale is an antique carved bone rosary with a Saint Gonzaga Stanhopein the crucifix.When stretched out, this rosary measures approx. 19 1/2" longand the carved crucifix is 1 1/2" high. There is a Stanhope of Saint Gonzaga in the Stanhope. The image can be seen but it is not perfect.It has a look to it as though there are squiggles and bubblesamid the picture. It may have some water or glue damage, but overall forits age and what's available, it's quite good. The image shows Saint Gonzaga and below the picture areare the words "Saint Aloysius of Gonzaga" in 4 different languages. This item is antique and has age and wear including imperfectionsin the chain and beads, and ground-in dirt as well. The centerpiece of thisrosary is a puffed heart, but the heart is very worn and has some dents and discoloration. Also, one of the links connecting the centerpiece to the rosaryis not the original.
