Description: For sale is a Rare Antique Tombstone style tube Radio made by RCA with a Walnut Veneer finish. Purchased from an Estate Sale, the radio remains in its original condition and is the perfect piece for a restoration project. At time of purchase, we were advised that the Radio dates back to the 1930s.This beautiful Radio is in lovely Antique condition with the expected wear for its age. The wood casing has some wear around the edges and some minor scrapes dents and areas of loss, but overall is in great condition, especially in comparison with many that we have seen for sale. There is a crack through the center top or the wood veneer which in no way compromises the integrity of the piece as it remains sturdy. The Radio which measures 16” tall by 13 1/4” wide by 9 1/4” deep, appears to have all its original tubes but needs to be rewired. There is also one knob missing. This beautiful Radio can be refurbished or, alternately can easily be equipped with an iPod, blue-tooth, or other state-of-the-art audio player. Please examine all photos carefully prior to purchase.
