Description: This is a unique antique RCA table top, 4-tube, broadcast band (AM) radio Model 94X-2 from 1938. There is no tuning dial. There are six tuning screws on the radio bottom to pre-select channels that are selected by the push buttons on the top of the radio. The on/off-volume knob is also on the top. The cabinet shows no indication of repairs and is finished in a "butterscotch" (almost yellow) color. There are some minor blemishes on the cabinet that I have tried to show in the photos. The radio measures approximately 8" high x 8" wide x 6" deep. The rear cover is in very good condition. The radio clearly receives broadcasts from across the AM band. I have owned this radio (and several others) for more than twenty years and it has been carefully displayed in my home. I turned on the radio just before I listed it on eBay to very its functionality. However, I cannot offer a warranty on this 86-year-old antique. Please be mindful of this and don't consider purchasing it if you have reservations. Please review the detailed description and photos. I will "double box" the radio for shipment. I will ship it by the most economical means but I WILL NOT use the USPS. I only charge actual shipping costs which are usually less than those posted by eBay. I will promptly refund any excess shipping costs paid by the buyer.
