Description: I love needlepoint and embroidered pictures, especially primitive ones like this. I have owned this one for years , it was not framed when I bought it and may never have been framed as it was found in a trunk in the attic of a Victorian farmhouse that had been unoccupied for several decades and was facing demolition. It was wrapped in muslin, along with quilts and blankets. I intended to frame this one and hang it but I am out of wall space and I don't think I want to store it for another 15 or 20 years. So I'm going to let it go. I love that the artist put her name on it and the date she made it. I also love the way that she sewed it on a piece of a Rinso laundry soap box. The yarn appears to be wool. It is very clean, no moth or other sort of damage. Dimensions are 14 1/2" x 11" from one side of the cardboard to the other.
