Description: This antique sturdy washing stick, originating from New Hampshire, is a unique and rustic tool that will add character to any primitive or antique collection. Made of sturdy wood, this forked stick was likely used for washing clothes by hand in the past. Its size, approximately 28 inches in length and full 1” thick makes it a practical and versatile piece for display or use. The stick came from my grand parents home and is in it’s original Americana style. Although it does not have a hole to hang it is does have the letter I indented into it. As one of their 10 children was Ivalee, I will presume this was her job!!
